This page describes the purposes and choices shown while creating a MyWeekbook account, including processing required to provide the service and optional consents.
Requested service
Parent and student details, curriculum, syllabus, marked assessments, observations and completed work are processed to create workbooks, provide feedback and monitor progress. This choice is necessary to use the service.
Marketing · optional
If authorised, MyWeekbook may send news, educational content and commercial communications. Refusal does not limit the service and consent may be withdrawn.
Profiling · optional
If authorised, MyWeekbook may analyse account use and preferences to personalise offers and communications. This is separate from generating the requested workbook and may be refused or withdrawn.
Students aged 11–18 and school materials
The service is designed for students aged 11–18 and the account is managed by a parent or guardian. Documents are not published. Any use of results for research or communication takes place only in aggregated, anonymous form and under an additional, separate consent.
Tutor Partner connection
A tutor invitation does not automatically grant data access. The parent must explicitly connect the tutor. Only then may the tutor access the learning materials and feedback strictly required to validate evidence, set up the live pathway and support delivery. The tutor is bound by confidentiality and data-processing instructions.
